Points of pressure and breathing exercises used in Martial Arts by warriors from the past are also used for healing and rejuvenation. Whether they are called Marma Points in Ayurvedic Medicine or Meridian Points in Chinese medicine or Shiatsu pressure points in the Japanese style of bodywork, they all follow the same concept and intention for healing the body.
My experience with martial arts has provided me with a deep understanding of the value of discipline of the Mind, Body and Spirit which I project into my bodywork practice.
